Happy Birthday to an Old Lady!!!
Vanilla Ripple is 19 years old this month! Her favorite place to sit is on my kitchen counter!!! I guess that if she can still jump up there at her age, I'll give up trying to keep her off of it. I just go behind her with my sanitizer! Constantly, everyday, all day!!! I guess she's worth it.
We have Vanilla because my husband couldn't say, "No" to our youngest when she was 8 years old and she cried! There were to be no more cats at our house because they always got run over living as close to the highway as we did then. So, Vanilla ended up being a house cat. She is afraid of the out of doors. She will go on the deck if we are out there, but that's as far as she will venture. You've heard of a "fraidy cat" haven't you? She's it. She's also Queen of our (HER) castle!!!
