Well, I've done something really ridiculous! I have become a follower of my own blog. I'm not sure how I did this. I was trying to follow another blog and somehow when I went back to view mine, there was my profile picture under my followers. I went to the help center and did what it said to do, and I ended up deleted another of my followers and I don't know who!!!
HELP ME if you know what I can do to remedy this. I especially hate that I have deleted someone else as one of my followers!!!

Way to go, Julia! Enjoy keeping up with your own posts! I don't know what you can do to fix it. I've never heard of that happening!
ROFLOL!!! I can't help you figure out how to find the missing follower (other than hope that everyone looks at the list and whoever's missing figures it out themselves).
I wouldn't worry about following your own blog. I think I have seen other bloggers do that. But about the one you deleted, maybe whoever it was will realize they are not receiving your posts anymore, or maybe they will read this help needed on the quilters blog.
LOL not to worry-I follow myself so that I can see when/if my blogs are showing up in the readers. Sorry about the lost follower at least you know you weren't ditched intentionally. I'm still following you!!
I accidentally followed my own blog too, but decided it was more trouble than it was worth to fix. I'm totally not sure how it happened...
I think that if you will go into your dashboard (from customize) and click on manage (left side of dashboard) you can delete yourself from there.
If you click on your picture in the Following box, a large box will appear. It should say settings in the top right hand corner .. hit that and it will say "stop following this site" (I believe). It's about half way down, on the right hand side as well..
Hope this works for you.

If all of the above good advice fails. Hit the follow button again, it will come up that you are already following this site. Hit the option to stop following.
It might not be you, it might be the system because I lost 4 followers in one day last week. And I must say your followers sure have grown! I taught over 300 students last year and no one wants to follow me :) I must be really bad at blogging.
I know you can click 'stop following' but I don't know how to restore a lost follower - maybe just a message to everyone to check the list if they are following you and make sure they are still there?
