CELEBRATING WITH A CAPITAL "M"

Our little Emory has FOOD allergies.  I capitalized FOOD because she's allergic to so many things: corn (so anything with corn syrup or corn starch, etc.., like cake mixes, icing, and even a lot of medicines!!), apples, pears, peaches, eggs, nuts, carrots, etc....  I didn't list MILK because as of Monday, when my daughter took her in for some new tests they have decided she can now have milk products!!!!   YEA!!!!  This will make life a little easier for my DD.  Here's a picture of my little MILK PRINCESS!!  We've not seen her since Christmas!  I can't believe how she's grown.  The organza dress with the lavender slip/sundress is for her.

Oh nooooooo! How dreadful, for the little one and her mommie! Perhaps she will outgrow some of these allergies? What a little cutie pie she is.

Yes, my sewing club is really wonderful. I also belong to American Sewing Guild. There should be a chapter in your area. If you need information, contact www.as.org. for chapters and neighborhood groups. (that sounded like a commercial) !!!

Yay for Emory! She is a little cutie! Food allergies can be so scary. We had a trainer at Guide Dogs who had severe food allergies and he always would sit at my table for meals...figured if he was going to have a reaction he might as well be sitting next to the nurse! Trace Adkins' daughter has severe food allergies...he supports the food allergy & anaphylaxis network http://www.foodallergy.org/. Did you catch him last year on Celebrity Apprentice? I bought my song download to support them! :)

Glad to hear that the allergies are subsiding. I have tried to leave a post prior to this one and I think the post got lost in cyber and one of them was posted by mistake to "Desert Baby". Thanks for the visit and love your site.

Wow! That's quite a list for sure. A lot of people don't realize that they have a long list of allergies, maybe just not severe enough where they will have too bad of a reaction. Food for thought....excuse the pun.

She's so cute!! Food allergies are the worst. My son has a friend in his preschool who is allergic to almost everything it seems and his mom is always so worried about him.

Julia, I just got home from work and decided that I am going to do one more practice. Thanks for commenting.
