I'm Not A Quilter, But.....
....my cousin is! Isn't this gorgeous? She brought it up to the house for all of her siblings and cousins to see while we were all congregated at my house.
We had a wonderful weekend. My Mother was in Seventh Heaven!
Now, on to Halloween costumes. I bought the fabric, etc... for the two Indian Princess dresses. One is Pocahontas and the other is Sakegawea. I watched the Disney Pocahontas movie and part of "The Night at the Museum" to see what these two ladies wore, or at least in these movies. I'm sure that the real ladies dressed much more functionally than their movie counterparts wore. But, my grands only know the movie versions, so that's what they expect. A friend called this morning to see if I would make her niece a Pocahontas costume. Talk about timing! I was on my way to buy fabric for my grand daughter's. She also wants a corduroy jumper.
On to the sewing room.......!

That quilt certainly makes an impact! It is beautifully bright.
Lovely quilt. Lots of talent in your family. I hope you had a wonderful time with them. On to Halloween!
That quilt is just beautiful!! I remember the only wearable fashion my mom ever made us (because me and my sister both wore it) was a clown costume. It served us through multiple Halloweens and School Productions. I can't wait to see these costumes.
Pretty!!
But I can't wait to see the costumes! Fun stuff!
Very beautiful.
I love the quilt....especially how the triangles are put together to form larger diamonds!
Would love to see the costumes you're making!
